The ‘Ourania’ Hoops bring together raw texture and celestial colour in a pair of striking statement earrings. Each hoop is handmade in sterling silver with an organic, molten texture — created through a process of melting and sanding for a natural finish.
Suspended from the hoops are two Lightning Ridge Opals, glowing in shades of green-blue with flashes of deeper blues and turquoise. Their movement catches the light with every movement.
Carefully handmade in my home workshop, these earrings are stamped 925, finished with secure stud fittings, and are ready to ship.
Please note: Opals can appear differently in various lighting conditions due to their natural play of colour.

Care
To keep your jewellery looking its best, store it in a dry place away from direct sunlight and chemicals. Avoid applying perfume, hairspray, or other sprays near your jewellery, as these can cause metal to tarnish and dull the stone’s natural beauty.
Both sterling silver and gold can develop a natural patina over time. To restore their shine, gently polish with a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, especially on pieces with opals.
The opals I use — primarily Australian opals — are more durable than other types, but they still require gentle care. Do not expose them to prolonged moisture or immerse them in hot water, as extreme temperature changes can damage the stone. Always remove your jewellery before bathing, swimming, or cleaning.
With a little mindfulness, your piece will remain beautiful for years to come.
Handmade
Each piece is individually handcrafted in my home workshop using traditional techniques and careful attention to detail. From the shaping of metal to the setting of each stone, no two pieces are ever exactly the same — each one is made to celebrate the unique character of the materials and carry a sense of individuality.
I work with responsibly sourced metals and natural opals, allowing their organic textures, colours, and forms to guide the design. Every element, from molten textures to smooth bezels, is crafted with intention and finished by hand to ensure lasting quality.
These pieces are not mass-produced — they are small-batch, thoughtfully made, and built to be worn, loved, and passed on.
